Set in a 100% recycled 14k rose gold bezel set halo is a 1.49ct natural untreated teal sapphire. Most sapphires change a bit, presenting darker in indoor lighting- but this sapphire also changes from teal blue-green outdoors to mostly green indoors in artificial light environments. If there's one thing better than a beautiful teal sapphire, it's knowing that it came from a supply chain that cares for the people who bring these stones up to the earth's surface. The Nigerian sapphires I purchase were mined by artisan miners, members of the local community who farm in the growing season and mine sapphires in the off-season. The purchase of these stones benefits the communities, helping people provide for their families and providing more funding for education and healthcare.
The band attached to the halois carved and textured by hand in wax. The band is fully rounded, about 2mm wide. The setting is elevated above the hand and able to stack flush with straight bands.A solid, weighty piece, this ring is intended to last as a future heirloom.
The ring is currently a size 6.5 and is resizable for a small fee. Once resized, however, it is non refundable. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for resizing.
